Aluminum Pop Tab Collection Program

 

Lynn Road Elementary collects aluminum pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham to give our students an opportunity to participate in a service learning project to help one of the organizations in our community. Last year, our school collected over 19 pounds of aluminum pop tabs. At approximately 100 pop tabs per ounce, our school collected over 30,000 aluminum pop tabs during the 2012-2013 school year.
