Housing  Food 

they live in wetus

they have a fire pit in there roof.       

they use deer skin for blankets.

  • there good fishermen.    they eat sea food.
Clothing  Language 
  • They did not wear as many clothes as the pilgrims
  • They wore a small pouch for keeping food or supplies
  • They wore moccasins made of deerskin.
  • They wore a loin cloth made out of soft doeskin
  • A lot of the times they went barefoot.
  • For special occasions they wore jewelry, deerskin leggins, body paint, and a tribal headdress.
  • Their jewelry was made from wampum which are clamshells.  Their jewelry was also made from stone & bone.
  • They wore a mini knife around their neck.   


  • They learned how to hunt with an ahtomp.
  • An ahtomp was a bow
  • They didn't go to schools.
  • Pniesog were a role model to young children
  • They had to learn to make their arrows.
  • Arrows were called kouhquodtash
  • They learned how to shoot an arrow at the age of two.
  • The girls had to learn how to build and take down a wetu quickly.
